Quirky and Rock & Roll: Heather and Natalie's Unforgettable Glasgow Wedding

A Last-Minute Wedding Photography Challenge

When Heather and Natalie's original wedding photographer pulled out just a week before their big day, I was faced with a last-minute challenge as their replacement. But as a Scotland wedding photographer, I was excited for the opportunity to capture their special day.

Getting Ready and Looking Fabulous

Heather and Natalie got ready together in a chic apartment near their venue, with Pin Up Hair Glasgow and Make Up by Leigh adding their magic touch to enhance the brides' beauty. The brides kept their dresses a secret from each other until the big reveal at the ceremony, and the moment was filled with tears of joy. They both looked stunning, and the flowers from Blooms Elaine Minto complemented their look perfectly.

A Moving Ceremony and Stunning Photos

The ceremony was held at Citation, Glasgow, officiated by the wonderful and funny humanist Claire Digance. The string quartet Rosewood provided a beautiful soundtrack to the occasion, and the girls' vows moved everyone to tears. After the ceremony, we headed out to the city to take some amazing photos of the brides in their cool jackets with smoke bombs.

Delicious Cake and Rockin' Entertainment

The reception took place at Citation as well, with speeches, cake cutting, and entertainment provided by the amazing band Velvet Noir. The cake from Special Day Cakes looked almost too good to eat! The evening was filled with dancing, laughter, and love, with the brides even taking to the dancefloor for a special song.

Creating Unforgettable Memories

Heather and Natalie's wedding was a unique celebration of their love story, and I was honoured to capture it all as their alternative wedding photographer in Glasgow. If you're looking for a Scotland wedding photographer who can capture the essence of your special day and create lasting memories, look no further than Karolina Pollock Photography.
